FNPT II simulator for SEP IR and MEP IR training

SEP and MEP IR FNPT II. One simulator, configured as the aircraft your syllabus uses.

SkyDynamics builds one FNPT II (FNPT 2) for single-engine piston, multi-engine piston and instrument rating training. It is configured as a Cessna 172, a Piper Seneca, a King Air 350 or a Diamond DA20, DA40 or DA42, is prepared for the evaluation of your competent authority, and can be bought or leased.

What it is

One FNPT II. Several ratings for a flight school.

A flight simulation training device (FSTD) that SkyDynamics designs and builds in Heraklion, Crete. Because the panels are interchangeable, a flight school trains several ratings on one device.

  • SEP IR and MEP IR training modules

Single-engine piston and multi-engine piston instrument rating training on the same device.

  • Analog or glass cockpit

Analog and glass cockpit options, with interchangeable panels, so the device matches the aircraft in your fleet.

  • A validated flight model

The flight model is validated against the data, and the QTG evidence comes from our own QTG tool.

  • EBT and CBTA at the instructor station

AeroEBT and the EBT Scenario Builder run the scenario and record the competency grading. No separate system is needed.

SEP IR simulator

SEP IR. Configured as your single-engine aircraft.

For single-engine piston instrument rating training the FNPT II (FNPT 2) is configured as the aircraft your syllabus uses: Cessna 172 (C172), Diamond DA20 or DA40.

MEP IR simulator

MEP IR. The same device, as your multi-engine aircraft.

For multi-engine piston instrument rating training the same FNPT II is configured as a Piper Seneca, a Diamond DA42 or a King Air 350 (B350), on which MCC training is also run.

  • MCC training on the King Air B350 configuration

SEP and MEP IR FNPT II: questions flight schools ask

SkyDynamics builds one FNPT II (FNPT 2) that covers single-engine piston (SEP), multi-engine piston (MEP) and instrument rating (IR) training, with SEP IR and MEP IR modules. It is configured as the aircraft your syllabus uses: Cessna 172, Diamond DA20 or DA40 for SEP IR, and Piper Seneca, Diamond DA42 or King Air 350 for MEP IR.

Yes. The device has analog and glass cockpit options with interchangeable panels, so a flight school trains several ratings on one device. What each configuration is credited for is decided by your competent authority when it qualifies the device.

SkyDynamics, based in Heraklion, Crete, Greece, is a European manufacturer of FNPT II and FTD flight simulation training devices (FSTD). It designs and builds the device, validates the flight model, produces the QTG evidence with its own QTG tool and supports the operator through qualification with its authority.

Yes, turboprop MCC training is run on the King Air B350 configuration. For jet MCC and APS MCC courses SkyDynamics builds the Airbus A320 and the Boeing 737 FNPT II.

By the competent authority, which evaluates the device and issues its qualification. SkyDynamics prepares the device for that evaluation: the device and its evidence package are aligned with EASA CS-FSTD, the flight model is validated against the data, and the in-house QTG tool runs the automated QTG tests and builds the report.

Yes, natively. AeroEBT and the EBT Scenario Builder run the scenario and record the competency grading at the instructor station, so evidence-based training (EBT) and competency-based training and assessment (CBTA) need no separate system.

Yes. Any FNPT II or FTD device in the range can be leased through SkyDynamics Financial Services. There are three schemes: a 39%, 50% or 70% deposit, with the balance paid month by month. Remote FSTD maintenance is included in every scheme.

The price depends on the configuration. SkyDynamics sends a written proposal with the price, the lease schedule and the delivery plan within five working days of your enquiry. A lease starts from a 39% deposit.
