The Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Greece, His Excellency Fang Qiu, paid an official visit to the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH) in Heraklion on Tuesday 29 September 2026. Why we took part
Our CEO, Emmanouil Lidakis, took part in the meeting with a specific purpose: SkyDynamics is preparing a major investment in data centres. During the visit we held conversations with Huawei on support for the data centre, and with a second company from China on the exchange of technologies and of proprietary software products that each side owns.
Who was there
FORTH's announcement names nine companies from FORTH and the Science and Technology Park of Crete, SkyDynamics among them, working in health, aerospace technology, artificial intelligence, photonics, laser technologies and advanced biomedical applications. The business delegation included State Grid, Huawei, ZTE and iFLYTEK.
